Today’s Guest:
Our success story today is Erin. She was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries, which differs from PCOS. Erin always had an idea that she might have trouble conceiving, primarily because her periods have never been regular. She and her husband started trying in the early 2014, and soon saw an RE and had tests done. At that point, her polycystic ovaries were discovered.
Erin has done several unsuccessful IUI cycles, but then took a more aggressive approach before making a move across the country. Her first IVF cycle was in June 2015, and she is now 26 weeks pregnant! Within Erin’s success story, she discusses the terrific support she has from her husband.

Welcome back to Lara, who told her story in Episode 18. She was diagnosed with hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA). This is a condition in which the brain doesn’t produce the hormones needed to prompt ovulation. In addition to her diagnosis, her husband was diagnosed with poor morphology and is a Type-1 diabetic. When we last spoke with Lara, she had done three IUI cycles with no success, and then moved on to an IVF cycle. Her IVF cycle began just a few weeks ago in October. She shares in detail the difficulty in making the required decisions in her journey.
