Our success story today is Ashley, who has been diagnosed with PCOS, a uterine septum, and had a miscarriage. She eventually became pregnant with her son and is now working to have a second baby.
She and her husband began trying to have a baby in September 2011 and soon became pregnant. Unfortunately, that pregnancy resulted in miscarriage, and then there was a whirlwind of tests and D&C procedures until her RE discovered her uterine septum. After a procedure to repair the uterus, Ashley soon became pregnant and soon gave birth to her son, who is now 2.
Ashley shares her feelings of shock and denial and the need to share and lean on others going through the same things. She also talks about the pain that Facebook announcements brought her when others became pregnant and had babies.

Whom We’re Following:
Welcome back to Chelsea, who told her story in our eleventh episode. Chelsea’s journey includes PCOS, Factor V blood clotting disorder, several timed intercourse cycles, IUI and IVF cycles, and several pregnancies and miscarriages. When we last talked to Chelsea, she had undergone a fourth failed IVF cycle. < Chelsea and her husband are taking a break right now in their treatments. They are not sure about the future and the next step in their journey. They pray for God’s guidance and are celebrating the small victory of having four natural cycles, which is a big accomplishment for her. Chelsea says battling infertility is a long, uphill struggle—which for her has lasted seven years. She feels that this break will allow her to see things more clearly as they pray about that next step. We wish Chelsea all the best and hope to hear good news from her soon!
