Today’s Guest:
Our success story today is Kara, who was diagnosed with “high natural killer cells.” She went through multiple miscarriages until she was matched up with Dr. Allison Rodgers at the Fertility Centers of Illinois.
Part of Kara’s treatment plan was experimental. She had infusions of strange concoctions to suppress those killer cells, but finally experienced success! She is past the halfway point in her pregnancy even though it hasn’t been an easy road. Kara credits her faith in God and her supportive husband in helping to sustain her.

We are also following the journey of Joanne, who has experienced multiple recurrent losses and a luteal phase defect. Joanne has done IUI and IVF cycles with pregnancies and early miscarriages each time. Her most recent IVF was a few weeks ago, and she and her husband are taking a break for now.
Joanne and her husband are looking forward to seeing a NaPro doctor in March. NaPro was created by a Catholic doctor as an alternative to IVF. It involves thorough tracking and charting to formulate a treatment plan based on each individual patient’s issues. Joanne is hopeful about this new treatment course and what 2016 holds.
