Our success story today is Chrissy. She faced the huge obstacle of being diagnosed with MRKH, which means the underdevelopment or absence of the vaginal canal, cervix, and uterus. Chrissy spent her teenage years facing all sorts of difficulties due to her female issues. She underwent exploratory surgery that turned into an experience that almost took her life. It wasn’t until she met her husband and fell in love that she pursued finding answers to her questions.

She assumed, like most people, that it would be an easy process to pregnancy. A short time later, she was referred to a fertility specialist. After several diagnoses were tossed around, including hypothalamic amenorrhea, she was finally diagnosed with PCOS.

My guest today is Angela. She was diagnosed with unexplained infertility, and then endured several IUI rounds and five IVF cycles. She and her husband made the choice to use a third-party donor egg with her husband’s sperm since her eggs were not of great quality. Angela explains the financial and emotional devastation they experienced when the cycle failed.
