Today’s journey update is from a woman named Nadine, who you might remember from Episode 81. When we last spoke, she was just about to transfer a frozen embryo. Since then, she did that frozen transfer, which unfortunately failed. During the following cycle, her RE ran an Endometrial Receptivity Array, and she sought the opinion of a specialist in Boston about Asherman’s Syndrome to get his opinion on whether or not she should pursue surrogacy. Today’s journey update is from a woman named Jane, who you might remember from Episode 80. When we last spoke, she had just completed a successful IVF cycle, which unfortunately ended in a chemical pregnancy. Since then, she’s had a pelvic MRI, hysteroscopy, a second opinion, and an appointment with a reproductive immunologist, all of which resulted in a host of additional diagnoses. Today’s success story is about a woman named Rachel. She and her husband have been together for the past 15 years and married for the last three. Before infertility, like so many of us, she was a planner and knew exactly how she wanted her life to unfold. Although she always knew she wanted to be a mom, her desire really kicked into high gear when she saw her husband with their nieces and nephews. She used to travel a lot for work, but there came a time when she knew that had to stop and she had to make her fertility a priority. Today’s success story is about a woman named Alecia. She and her husband were college sweethearts. Today, they love to go on adventures together, including hiking, backpacking, and camping. The first year of their marriage was a difficult one, as she battled an autoimmune disease that nearly took her life. Once that was under control, she headed straight to the RE upon the advice of her family. Today’s success story is about a woman named Diana. After meeting at work, she and her now husband quickly became friends, although they didn’t start dating until about a year later. Today, they complement each other very well and can still spend hours together just talking. When she was younger, Diana took for granted the fact that motherhood would just happen when she wanted it, although once she and her husband started trying, she had a feeling it would be a difficult road. Unfortunately, she was right. When her period never returned after stopping birth control, she headed to her OB for basic testing. Join us to hear how both she and her husband ended up being diagnosed with infertility and they were advised to head straight to IVF.

They are very close and loving toward each other with an extremely strong bond. Although she always assumed she’d be a mom, her desire became overwhelming about a year ago when they adopted a puppy, whom she loves very deeply. Today’s journey story is about a woman named Jane. Although she’s always known she wanted to be a mom, she didn’t meet her husband until later in life. They were married last August when she was 35 and he was 38. As a couple, they both consider themselves foodies and like taking adventurous trips together. Like so many listeners, Jane is a proactive Type-A personality who saw her OB for basic testing after only 5 months of actively trying to conceive.
